Kelly, why don't we bump this one back a couple of weeks since several people cant make that weekend, and theres apparently another one now. I think the people south of you would find it easier to drive to Gainesville (me included). Maybe more towards the end of Feb/first of March.

I don't mind bumping it back a little. I know the weekend of the 28th there are still some people that can't make it b/c there's a fair going on, plus I'm on a busy rotation then and the 7th of March, so it would probably be best not to do it then either. What about the 14th of March? Is that too late for everyone or do we need more time to hatch?

Volume - you can always start your own up there with other people if you want. Just try to do it a different day from ours. I can't commit to going that far this far in advance b/c I don't know if I'll be on call or not...if I am I have to be w/in 1/2 hour of the clinic at all times.

ETA: Just let me know which weekend works best for everyone: Feb. 21 or March 14.

Now that I'm thinking about it, we're putting our house on the market in March, so it would probably be best to go ahead and do this one in Feb. I'm not sure what potential buyers would think if they came to look at the house and saw 100's of chickens!

So if it's ok with everyone I'll still do it Feb. 21.

Yup...works for me. The USAF is sending me to NC on the 2nd of March for a month...So Feb works. Hope everyone can make it!

Yes, we did TALK about doing it at your place, but only a couple people had responded to the idea when you decided to take over and just do it. You really should have waited to make sure it was ok with more people before you just decided that that worked best for you, especially since this one was in the works first.

I also said "As soon as we figure out for sure when & where, I will post all of the info in this first post" but you decided that wasn't good enough and just opened your own thread, instead of having info posted here, which is only going to make everyone confused.

ETA: I think if we have to do it the same date we should VOTE. That way everyone gets a say...if we have it up there that's fine, so long as that's what the majority wants...it's really not fair for you to decide for everyone.
