$12 for truly SQ eggs is a good deal...compare that to eggbid + shipping/handling....it's a huge plus. Are you sure the eggs are fertile?
PS. Good for YOU being an independent/responsible pet owner!!!! Great to see in young people!!!
Would you suggest raising it a little bit or no? I mean i don't want to become rich but want have a little cash for feed. Yeah the silkie hen sat on some eggs and hatched out i think 8 chicks maybe 9. My chickens are my only pets so far that i dont have to be asked to take care of. I love taking care of them lol
I'd leave it at $12 and see what people will do....if you sell quickly, then next time you may want to raise the price....if not, you can lower. Swaps are funny...sometimes people come with wanting any kinds of mixed chicken breed for their yard and not wanting to spend a lot of money, and sometimes people come to invest in SQ birds for 4H/FFA events and know they will have to spend a bit of money to get something really good. Ya never know. Bring a picture of their parents to give everyone an idea of what to look forward to in hatching. Good luck, though.
