He is a very humble, nice man. I saw him at a conference one time, where he actually talked to people, showed them things about their dogs, talked about pact instinct. He is not mean, not rude, not arrogant. He is truly a humble, sweet, happy little guy. He doesn't treat dogs like people though. That in itself might be offensive to some people in this nation. We do tend to treat our dogs like they are our babies.
I have never seen anything he has done on tv, the videos, or at the conference that remotely looked like being mean to a dog. My only hesitation is that he does "save" some animals that are probably not safe for all members of society. If he keeps them, keeps them away from society, then fine. But I don't think it is safe to have dominant aggressive dogs loose in society. You never know when someone might set them off again.
