CHAINSAWS Big Boys Toys.

i am gonna go to either a stil or an echo after the hauquarvana goes, it sad to be out performened by 150.00 chraftsman chainsaw. and it wasnt the cheap hausquarvana,
I couldnt be more disssatisfied with it, esp. when my father in law comes over with his craftsman 18"
at first i thought it was what i was cuttin, then i thought it was me, but several others around here feel the same way

randy, i've never heard of a Mall chainsaw but i find crazy stuff at flea markets. 3 weeks ago i found a 20 in Stihl Farm Boss bar from a saw that had been damaged [no chain] for 4 dollars. i'll look that chainsaw up. okay chicken rustler- hole shot, port polishing and open muffler. you now have moved to first place to win the 6 pack, very dark maran eggs this spring. purple chicken had you at first but you are top dog right now with your saw conversation.

I was given a Stihl 066 by a good friend that competes in Timbersports. I cherish that thing like I dunno what. And Ive dropped roughly 20 trees this week alone with it down a bank outside the house. Its never let me down.

loco gringo an 066 STIHL is one of my favorite saws. STIHL builds bigger saws but my uncle has an 066 with a 36 in bar and i am crazy about it. he has a saw mill that runs on a track and uses that saw to cut lumber. it has a scarred piston right know but he is going to replace piston and jugg. it is a good saw but he runs it hard.

fatboy Are ya serious ?? Would them be hatchin eggs ? Dark egg layers is one thing I wantto add mostly just for color in the egg cartons. I don't have a bator but if gettin eggs I will build borrow or rustle one if need be.

BTW the saw I am talking about is the one I posted pic of on that little stick of wood on the splitter.

It might be your Chain, see if you have a sharp chain first and the right pitch and gage on your chain, some times build up on your muffler can and will reduce the preformance of your saw quite a lot.

We run a 'Husky', and it has done well for us. I thought it was a Stihl (everything else we have is a Stihl), but just asked the DH and he informed me otherwise. And, yes, I like to run the saw, too!

Since I saw some discussion on log splitters, my DH made one from all spare parts (we have a hydraulic repair shop/fab shop), and runs it off our tractor's PTO. It's sweeeeet!

hellow omran. i could not agree more that the walmart 14 in woodshark is a piece of work. a real poulan like the 3400 wizard coutervibe is a good saw but cranky to say the least. i have 2 4000 countervibe bow saws that do suffer from pms. your shop looked cool and the fireplace it looked just like mine. i think you took them pics at my shop. yall have a great day.
