Chair by the Chicken Coop Club

I've got an old bench. Usually we put the eggs on it then the eggs get abandoned and rained on...In our new, temporary winter coop, there isn't a chair, but we'll be working on it! Everyone needs a chair in or by their coop. It's a great way to relax.

ETA: We have stumps in both coops. I hope they count as chairs. We sit on them, so, I guess.

I have several chairs by my coop and a small table We love to sit out and watch them !

My favorite past time is sitting and watching the chooks. I have two that like to come sit on my chair or in my lap. Flora, my Splash Marans and Alberta my old BO. The others just like to mill around and see if anything is going on. I have a chair by the coop and a sitting area with adirondak chairs and a fire pit that I use to chicken watch. The chickens like to sit on the chairs as much as I do. LOL. They are my coffee break in the morning and my stress relief after work in the evening.

I love the name Cluckingham Palace, lol. My cousin named her duck house, "The Quackery." My coop is called Chez Poulet, my daughter made this wood burned sign for it....

Love the coop names. I thought I was the crazy chicken lady. LOL. I do have a special dust bath pool. Alberta went to sleep in it one day and I thought she was dead- looked pretty scraggly. Nope, just stopped for a nap. My coop is the Cackle Shack.

Oh, my coop is named The Birdcage. I made this lighted sign. Provides a little nighttime ambiance lol!

My sunroom faces the backyard. I have a breakfast nook (padded benches). I drink my morning coffee, eat my breakfast, eat my lunch, sometimes dinner too while watching my flock.

So not a chair by the coop, but the coop was built so I could watch out my back window.

Then you'll understand... It happened because i had a beautiful frizzled bantam cochin that turned out to be a rooster. I said he was too pretty to be a boy!!! His name was Armand.
