Welcome to the Club, GemmaA! I love your makeshift seat, it's so hillbilly (just kidding ). I think I should just make one like that because the girls keep pooping on my plastic chair if I'm not there to sit in it...maybe they are trying to tell me something? One of my girls is named Gemma, she is a Cuckoo Marans who is currently freeloading but she is having her first molt so she gets a pass...this year!

Thanks! I'm going to have to put a proper chair out as I needed that cinderblock for something and am now chair less. Doh!

I'm tickled that i have a little freeloading namesake. xD

Hey y'all
Look what I found out in the old shed. It was all rusted and dirty. . but a little sand paper and some spray paint and it looks great out in my new duck run. Now I have a place to sit a spell while the water tank fills up. Or just hang out and watch them play.

I was just about to reply that I am looking for cool pallet wood chairs to build for my run!
My coop is right next to all my backyard seating as it is, so now I just need a chair for inside the run.

I made a bench. I think it maybe should have put it inside though as if I am eating the hens think it's theirs and jump the fence on to me!!
