**Challenge** Everyone getting ready to make dinner, I need your help!

I'm planning on trying this recipe tonight, using Honey Crisps. I'll let you know how it turns out.
What recipe are you using for the pastry? I put egg in mine, which makes it less apt to get soggy, and sometimes blind bake the bottom crust for 10 minutes or so to help it with the soggy problem pot pies can develop. I find this really helps with the overall pot pie experience.

I use the generic pie crust recipe from crisco, grew up with it!

I do a quick bake of the bottom crust by poking holes in it with a fork to let steam escape, then bake for about 8 minutes. Then pour in my filling, top crust on, vent and egg wash. Took 45 minutes to finish baking here for me though, just so you know.

Tonight I am doing another recipe I will post if anyone is interested. Its a chicken version of shepards pie with mashed potatoes on top.
