Chanca Piedra liquid for my rooster's gout

Anyone every given Chanca Piedra liquid to rooster? My roo has gout in his leg and just wondering if this would help.
Any advice/suggestions welcome!

Do you happened to know the cause of his gout? It would be interesting to see photos of his legs.

This person used Tart Cherry to treat gout in her rooster, I believe it helped - something to look into.

Not one I am familiar with and never heard of it used for gout. I have heard that tart cherry juice works for some and you can get it in capsules, I'd probably try that. Are you sure that it's gout?

Gout in rooster is from keeping him on layer food. Too much calcium turning into uric acid which attacks joints and also internal organs. People need to read fine print on feed packaging. LAYER FEED IS ONLY FOR LAYING HENS, NEVER FOR ROOSTERS OR CHICKENS BEFORE THEY LAY.
