Change in egg color??

I honestly thought one EE would lay blue and pink eggs... Ours do, and I thought it was normal

I'm going to just keep a very close eye and I'll post it. I guess if I don't get any more blue eggs I'll have my answer...I really hope that's not the case.

Each chicken has their own color. During the season, the eggs will turn a lighter color. However, they don't change from pink to blue. I have had a chicken to lay 2
eggs a day. Both were the same color.

So you're saying you're sure you have one that lays both blue and pink....and it's not that all your birds lay different colors?? If so do they always just randomly lay either blue or pink...or did it start out with one color and then change, and stay, to the next??

My friend has ameraucanas and EEs and they change their egg color after molt. They will have blue eggs then molt and the first egg after molt will be a different color then the next egg will be blue
