The storms today knocked the power out, zero power when I got home from work. Incubator at 72°, littles with no momma heating pad, though they seemed to be doing fine. We got the generator running and everything hooked up. Power just came back on 4 1/2 hrs later Damn the last couple of weeks have just been working my nerves

They should all be fine. All those power outages I had during my incubation didn't seam to hurt any thing. Some where more than 6hrs as well.

Zoe laid her first egg at 19 weeks old today, a beautiful sky blue. Lady is still broody as all get out, I tried to let her out to see and she went straight to the nest box and I put her straight back in the grow out pen If she hasn't snapped out of it by Friday I'm putting her in a dog crate cuz I absolutely need these littles out of my house and I'm sick of the lunacy!

Fiona laid her first egg today, albeit very small But I'm very pleased with the color!

The littles are outside and everyone is quite curious, lol. I'll grab some pics in a bit.

Candled the OE eggs yesterday before work, pulled 1 infertile and 2 blood rings, down to 12. Lockdown in 12 days.

I just read your BYC Member Interview and realized we're only a couple hours away from each other! For some reason when you said Central TX, I was picturing San Antonio.
