Dahlia is such a good mom. My Roady (BA) was still bonded at 16 weeks according to my notes but she cut ties shortly after that. That was so fun seeing a broody go that long and she still hangs and sleeps with her daughters like besties. It's funny also they have her same friendly and docile disposition....It has been gorgeous today! I think it's currently 65, so we started getting some projects done! Hubby added a trellis between 2 of the raised garden beds to save space with cucumbers, purple hull peas, and melons. I added some black gold from the run to 1 of the garden beds along with crushed egg shells, and got some Texas Sweet Onions, kale, romaine, brussel sprouts, and carrots planted. And yes, Dahlia is still mother henning the youngins at almost 15 weeks old, no wonder that boy hasn't crowed yet, he doesn't know he's almost a man

The eggs have shipped! I'm so excited for the first hatch of the year, even if they aren't my birds eggs! Gotta get the incubator out and going after work to make sure everything is running smoothly
