Don't you love that feeling?! I always have to quickly take a picture before the chickens mess up all my hard work.

Yep! I hate doing it, but love the gratification! It was so humid this morning, I was dripping sweat!

A Robin made a nest by one of my flower pots on the front deck and look what I saw today The pic isn't great because I stay far away and zoomed in, but that egg is crazy blue!

I was mistaken, it's a northern mocking bird nesting there, she now has 3 eggs! I read it only takes 12-13 days before they hatch, then they leave the nest 12-13 days after that. I can't wait to see this process unfold!

I am going to do 1 last candle this weekend, then I'll put both sets of eggs in lockdown Tues (Marans due the 9th, Mixed incubator, the 10th) Whatever Marans hatch in the incubator I'll give to Onyx to go with the ones she's already on.
