I've checked websites and they sell for anywhere between $40 (garbage colored eggs) and $80 (7ish on the marans egg scale) I think $40 is fair, in my opinion and per SOP I've got some pretty good looking birdsTake into consideration that BCMs are the most widely popular variety and to some there's no other variety until we point it out. I can't count how many I've shown my BBS Silvers to and there like "Whaaaaaat?"...
And I'm sure it's the same with Wheatens. The nice part is, the explosion of the BCM market has opened eyes to our other varieties and that's a plus in my eyes, if we can only get more SOP focused folks and not just dark egg breeders. But that's a long shot as it always mainly go towards what the market demands.
Do a little research into your Wheatens price point and I'm sure you'll find your selling your eggs too cheap. My suggestion would be start at minimum 40/dozen, track your sales and adjust accordingly. Get a feeler out, so to speak.
