I really like my x20...the 30 wasn't in stock at the time, but now I can do close to 100 eggs with my 3 bators, so I think my next investment will be a cabinet/hatcher.Man, that new incubator came yesterday and I really want to fire it up and check it out
Same here, and I love the 20! The off brand one I had that was 24 egg capacity just stopped working the other morning, so I grabbed my X20, plugged it in and moved all but 4 eggs to it. When I saw the X30 on deal I snatched it up.I really like my x20...the 30 wasn't in stock at the time, but now I can do close to 100 eggs with my 3 bators, so I think my next investment will be a cabinet/hatcher.
You need a white layer to show off how pretty these are in comparison!Thelma has joined in, she's an F2 (Cordelia/Langdon) and her first egg is a beautyI feel like I can't get a picture of the "real" color of eggs, it's quite frustrating, lol
I have zero interest in white eggs, even when I picked my first three ladies I wanted some color, lol. I'll do a lineup pic this weekend with who I have laying, kinda sucks because I have no blue layers laying right now, but what are you gonna do, lolYou need a white layer to show off how pretty these are in comparison!
I didn't want any white layers either but I got a free Ancona and it honestly makes the other colored eggs pop!I have zero interest in white eggs, even when I picked my first three ladies I wanted some color, lol. My ladies that are molting aren't laying, but some that molted earlier are starting back up and my pullets are just starting so they'll lay all winter. The crazy blue OE just started today since her last broody episode. I provide supplemental light, so once the others finish their molt they'll start back up too. As far as your broody goes, she won't start laying until she weans the chicks and molts. As long as she is mothering them there are no eggs in your future, lolI didn't want any white layers either but I got a free Ancona and it honestly makes the other colored eggs pop!
Everyone is slowing down, even my pullets. I only got 4 eggs today! And my broody STILL hasn't picked back up.
