Change of plans

So what all have you canned?
I canned homemade chicken stock. I called it Roo Broth. My mom thought that was a little dark (dark humor, not color) but oh well.
I also canned pickles, and made dewberry/blueberry jam and canned that. That's it so far! I wanted to do some veggies but our garden kind of failed this year.

Love it! "Roo broth"🤣 Do you have any canning books with recipes? I have a couple ball books, and a few Amish books (those are all old school water bath recipes, which I love) I highly recommend trying a variety of things, including pressure canning vs water bathing, to see what you like best. I, personally feel like pressure canning some things changes the texture quite a bit, and I don't care for it. Just start tinkering, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. I get a lot of satisfaction from canning, along with a sense of calm.
 
Your Olive Eggers are really cool looking and people seem to buy them. Maybe more of those?
Well ty! I think I'll throw in a few of Bella's eggs (the green queen) and see if I can get a pullet this time. I'll definitely be setting some of my Wheatens.
