Thanks for all your help but I decided to go ahead with the cull/kill of my lesser cockerels and I'm left with three very nice birds to chose from next Spring. The 'also rans' became just too much annoyance for me to put up with over the winter. They will do better for me in pot-pies.

I hope folks take more interest in their birds than they appear to have in this thread. I know there are some serious breeders in the U.S. and certainly in Canada. One would think they would be willing to share and help out others who have shined up to this delightful breed.
