chanteler orpington?

So from what i know chanteler and orpington are two different breeds, but a friend just getting into poultry had a "breeder" tell them they had "chanteler orpingtons" and that they were lighter beige than buff orps and have double combs? does this just sound like a home made mix breed? or is this actually a purebred? he was intrigued by the breed, but also said the "breeder" is an odd duck (though of poultry folks, who among us isnt?).

that is just what my friend told me the "breeder" said, i am very wary of what they could actually be :S they are cheap though, so i could get some for kicks, lol.
