Twice the size of the Garage-Brooder! And that was for 14 ducklings. As long as Katharina is OK, they can have the bedroom until the ducklings are large enough to chew off Erpelchen's drakehood…It’s a nice size room.

I know! Hopefully they have grown enough by that time so that the other ducks are not as much as a threat to them. Nona is sleeping right at the gate:There’s going to come a time when she is going to want to take her ducklings out to teach them life lessons.
Remember, Nona was the only duck talking to the Spring Ducklings this year. And she was the first to accept them once they were outside, she has such a friendly personality! There is a good chance that some of the babies are hers as she was sharing the nest with Katharina. They have been sitting on the nest together multiple times.I am betting Nona is feeling motherly. It happens here when there are babies. Or Broody’s it’s contagious. They sure are adorable![]()
I was about to ask: The little one is running around with the others, eating and drinking! Is it ok for a less than one day old duckling to eat and drink?Watch to make sure they don't trample the new little one. How many eggs left?
