Charleston we have a Broody here!

Maybe it’s time to take the fencing down? Might save your sanity?
I don't feel they are ready to run with the other ducks! They can barely look over Blanca's body when they stand upright and they look so fragile…
This morning i added reflective tape on top of the fence, so far that has kept the ducklings inside, Katharina just flew over the fence back and forth and tried to lure the little ones out. They won't be in there for much longer, but every day inside the safe area counts (i think!) as they have started to grow like weeds.

That mama! I have always given my ducklings 2-3 weeks before letting mama and ducklings out with the main flock. I was just thinking once they know they can get over that fence. You could also hang some reflective tape so it moves in the wind if they get use to what you've done so far.

The Ducklings graduated today!

They got their degree to use the large black plastic water-bowl instead of the small white plastic-bin. Only the smallest one needs the brick to get out of the bowl, the other's just hop over the rim.
There is one particular water-attracted duckling who is always the first in the water and the last one out, i think i will name her/him »Waterburger« - Guess the Texan's here may like that… @Magnolia Ducks @Texas Kiki @Raenh @Texag87
Anyways, as said: WaterBurger is the first one to get in:
