I did a little experiment this afternoon: Sprinkled treats (meal-worms, cat-food, sunflower-seeds) on both sides on the duckling fence, to bring everybody close together and teach the grown-up ducks that ducklings are something to look forward to.
Like: »Ducklings = yummy treats.« - Wait! - No! That's a bad idea! - Blanca! No! Ducklings are not food! Spit it out, Blanca, out! No you can't have its legs! Spit it out completely! It will need the legs.
Let me rephrase this: »Ducklings and treats are closely related.« - No Blanca not that close! Out with it!
Uff! So difficult! OK, how's that: »Ducklings make humons dispense yummy treats!« That'll work! Blanca? - Good duck! Yes you can have that big hairy spider…
Anyways: I sat down at the corner of the duckling pen and rattled the treats container…

Poop jar not needed for for the next few weeks. Too much going on. Besides, if I have to I can visit @Magnolia Ducks

That is a great video, stampede good thing the ducklings were on the other side of the fence. She is such a good mama. Hard for me to guess at this age who is dad and who is mom but do you have any that are standing up like little Runners?

They all can stand up tall like Runner ducklings. I am not sure but some of the bills look like White Layer bills, on the first picture the two ducklings with the wide open eyes for example. Their bills look too large for a Runner. - I think…
