Chat has started lagging at 1:52 and continues so far. You get like a 20-30 second delay between send and message going in window.

No its over with now and I am not the only one that experienced it. Not complaining just letting the problem be known so bugs can be worked out.

We've also seen a few spikes in server loads would would be more evident in chat than elsewhere on the site.

Since I made the last chats guide I'm going to show some of the features of this chat.
I'm going to wait to hear if nifty is goign to keep using this chat and i'll add more directions and redo the old chats guide with new photos.


Chat color.

There are 2 ways of getting color

color #1 (easy)

Select the color from the "Font Color" at the bottom
You will have to put the text you want colored between the ]text here[ to get it to color.
this setting is a one time color if you want it to always be the same color see color #2

color #2

go to the tool button in the bottom right hand cornor.
that will bring up settings.
put a check in the Persist font color box.
hit a color on the bar and it should stay the same color all the time.


options to improve speed

bb codes

These will make it so that the chat does not run slow

Got to settings and deselect the options of your choice.
Enable BBCode
Enable image BBCode
Enable font color BBCode
Enable hyperlinks
Enable line breaks
Enable emoticons

Number of lines

Go to options in the bottom right hand cornor
hit "Maximum number of messages" in the chatlist: and put in a number there.

Channels

This chat has seperate channels you can switch between different channels in the list you also have your own private channel that you can invite members too using the /invite "Username"

Ignore

Ignore works by typeing /ignore (username)

Leaving chat

There are 2 options Hit log out in the top left or type /quit

This is just a pre-chat guide it will get more info if this chat is to be used perminately
