I'm always logged in but might not be around. Outside when it's not raining. Love it too much. Just sold my first chicks. All seven from my first hatch. YAY!!

Yeah, No, I only have 2 acres

That's plenty of room for a pair of emu. Clover's breeding setups are 3000 sqft per pair, with a 10x10 "coop". She suggests a tree in each pen, I forget why at the moment. (Got the CRS) My two pens are 40x100 each, side by side with a 20x10 building split in half so they have separate chambers. I'll be keeping two pairs, but started out with 8 chicks so I can hope to get the 2 males and 2 females I want. I do still need to build a growout pen for the youngsters we'll raise up for meat, but it can wait a bit.

Someday I'll get around to taking some pictures of my setup.

I'll catch you guys later. I desperately need to go get some things caught up now that we're not buried in more snow and high winds.

Oh I know you was I just thought it was funny!! Anyways. Had fun playing at the park. Bought ice cream for the kids and a lat fish n chips for dinner. Yum. Right going to have a nose around for a bit while tea is cooking.

Glad the park was fun...lets see I managed to make supper..redo my nails...cleaned the brooders again cause 12 brahma babies decided to play like ducks in their watered....oh and pkayed with Athena the puppy til she couldn't play anymore lol..how was everyone else`s day ?

Eh, didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but that's the way it goes. I've got such a short attention span these days, it's easy to get sidetracked. I wanted to spend a lot more time outside today because temps weren't too bad and I need to get some postholes dug, but the darn wind gets me scooting right back into the house. I'm so weary of wind. This house has been here 14 years, and it's amazing that no one has ever thought to put in some trees on the west side of the place where it all comes from. That changes this year. If it ever gets nice enough to plant anything, that is. Down to 18 tonight.

You've got ferrets Silver? You've gotta share them with us! I used to run a rescue and love the little guys.

I do indeed have two ferrets ..tommorow is cage clean out day so will try to get some photos of the wild girls..its also bath day for them lol Athena the pup plays with them thru the cage bars it is cute and she is gentle

Thinking about starting a brooder similar to yours tommorow with three dividers !!!!

Waiting for day 10 to candle again..with some high temp fluctuations I'm afraid I might have lost some..sadly it happens ..y'all have a good one !! I'm heading out to play with the little chickies

Sorry I was off since yesterday afternoon, I had a really bad headache and had to get some sleep.
i had asked my daughter to come on and let you all know, but she doesn't know how threads work, so i see she didn't try........

Since I sold those 7 chicks I hatched, my wife said if I can keep selling the ones I hatch, which I plan, That I can get more of the GLW!!

She seen pics of them, and said they will be the prettiest birds we have when they get older. She really likes them. I hope this weekend the guy still has more. HAHAHA
