Ok, I just had to post this, I am quackin up!!
i was trying to get bed time pics of the new babies for ya, but I made a noise and they all woke up and started running around like chickens with...............nevermind that, anyway.....2 of them ran into each other and knocked each other over....they both ended up rolling on their backs, wildly kicking their tiny feet, then jumped up and ran around some more.........too cute.
Ok, prolly happens all the time, but I have only had chickens for a year and a little more, so, funny to me.
Obviously, I missed the shot because my dork butt made the noise that sent them scattering. Now they are awake and peeping like crazy. Will try again tomorrow.

Ok, I'm going out on a limb here, but I really think I have one roo in each type.... The two sebrights, one is marked slightly different it has more stripes, and has a clear part in the fuzz on the head....where a comb would develop?. The other one is chipmunky, but no stripes, just spots, no fuzz part. the striped one is the roo, I think
Of the porcelain D'Uccles, two are darker, just slightly, and the lighter one has very faint stripes, just above the wings, again slight part in the head fuzz, roo i'm thinking. This one gives me the dreaded stink eye when I take pics, and was the first to jump when I made the aforementioned noise. i really think that is a roo. Ok, I only went there so that later I can go back and see if I was right or not....

Im so sorry i havent been around much. Its just been manic. Had loads of problems last night. But Omg omg OMG. I'm so happy. I thought I had a peep. And I couldn't get a pic. The camera just wouldn't focus. See
But then I looked around and saw this on my bantie egg!
Aaaahhh! I swear I could hear tapping. But it sounded just like it was coming from the fan!! Omg. Humidity is at 73 percent. Is this good! I'm a wreck. Lol

Am here at home all day. Have one small pip on one that I spotted first. Then there was the one in that bantam egg and there is another one that happened a little later. It has a massive pip. But no more. Heard tapping since and even the first chirping. But nothing else yet. I have read they can take ages. Not sure when to panic but they are all at the top end. Below the air line.
