OK, I am off to bed, but I will try to remember a good Alaska picture to post tomorrow, and my favorite brand of thermals!

HAVE A TUESDAY OF PERFECTION, my young Aussie Friend![]()
I saw the pics you posted in Sal's thread of your land- Beautiful, Tony!!!!! Looks like you have done a lot of clearing- not easy work, even harder to keep it that way!! over the last 2 years my land has gone wild- I have a big pine that fell (posted pics few weeks back) and needs cut up, and the north acre is just horrifically wild!! i can't even see through any of it more than a foot or so.
Anyway, just wanted to say- Great work, and looks very beautiful and peaceful!!
Mornin Kids-
I have a dilemma with the duck pen materials Hopefully someone who knows will offer some good wise advice......TONY..........Also, what about size? The yard timbers are 8 ft long![]()
First, Let me show what I have materials wise:
Some of the yard timbers
and i have 10 of these galvanized metal things equivalent to a 2x6x12'
so should I use wood or metal thingys for the bottom of the pen?
I also have a few, maybe 5 metal 2x2x8' eq. size
several pt 2x4
I have a few concerns about using the metal: screws sticking out, scraping ducks Sharp edges, that sort of thing
And I have plenty of hardware cloth.
What should I do. I am going to need posts, obviously, and would really like to use the yard timbers for the base and upright posts. Then I think the metal 2x6x12 things for the cross members across the top-?
