It's been a long week. Very tired. Haven't done much this week either. I need to go out to momma and daddy's tomorrow and work in the garden and clean house some for them. DD is a huge help here and there.

It sounds like alot of us were busting our cans this week. So nice of you to pitch in with Mom and Dad

. Do they live close to you?

My Mom and Pop's live about 30 minutes from me, but I have to cross the bayway (or the causeway) to get to their house. With this summer beach travel traffice East and West, can end up taking 1+ hour, if there's a wreck, just be sitting there for quite a while. Hence, don't get to see her so often in the summer, Bummer.
We usually have to travel later in the evening to make a 1 hour round trip travel time vs 2 to 3 hour travel time.

Oh wow, traffic is awful, we have a camper that we keep do there at Gulf Shores. We hardly ever go. I've been trying to convince DH to go down there and bring it up to momma and daddys and set it up out there. Momma and daddy live up on the mountain about 15 minutes from me. We live in the valley between Sand Mountain and Lookout Mountain. I'm just tired all the time now seems like. Maybe the heat, maybe spring fever.

Hey everyone...on the blue eggs....they are red cardinal bird eggs!

I know it can get slow over the weekend and didn't want to miss a post re: type of eggs. They are so pretty, wish my cell phone could have captured that blue!

Anyone have any ideas it will take for a wild bird to incubate/hatch the eggs? Gotta make myself stay away but want to see sooo bad

yep, all of the above. Did you catch the post a while back about DH living in Gadsden and working at the Y. I've seen the photos of his bike ride from their to Gulf Shores. Very pretty backroads. (He said he used to ride his bike up the back of Sand Mountain just for training etc. Small world, especially since he's from PA)

I did see that! it is a small world. My DH is from upstate NY and he really loves it here.
