I hope it won't be as hot today as it was yesterday. I have got to get my canner out and I will be canning most of the day. It just gets so hot in my kitchen!

The AC has been on here for awhile. I need to cut our weeds today. A 5 hour job with a push mower and all the hills.

But then it's Miller Time!!!

I have been running our AC also but it does not help much in my kitchen. I have big windows that let the sun just bake my kitchen.

Sheesh! I cannot even think of a push mower again.... Poor thing!
After all that I guess you would need a miller time

OK, well, I have progress to report- I finally got some wire up on the duck pen addition-
YAY, I will have chickens in there soon.......maybe even today!!!
DH is off today, and I must go into town to clean, so I am

that he does work on it while I am gone.........

Yeah, the chances are pretty slim, but we'll see. The majority of that storm heading our way is staying off to the south of us for now, so hopefully
we will get this thing finished and chickens safe inside before it decides to hit us hard.

Luke, I forgot to say that i am so sorry about Miss Duck! And those chicks are Yummy.....meaning, eye candy, you know!!!!!

After the pics I have seen of your land, I would not want to have to push mow it!! you need a cable at the top that you can push the mower down the hill, then hook the cable to it and it will pull it to the top for you!!
