I agree 100%!!!! I have always believed that anything worth having takes work. It is harder when one person sorta stops working for it and the other has to take up the slack to simply maintain it. That is where we are at.......I took up the slack, and now it has become my job to make it right, which i KNOW I cannot do aloneOh, I wanted to say.....a good therapist is priceless......if the first one doesn't seem to help, find a different one.
And super good for you, working so hard for your marriage. Most good marriages are good because both parties put in oodles of work.
At least for me, if you can push through to the other side, it is wonderful how much better everything is. All of that struggle helps make the bond better. It is just the pushing through that is so difficult.

We are going to be seeing my 15 yo's therapist, whom we already know and like. He is very good, and I think he will be a great help! So glad that I already have someone that I am comfortable with, and just happy that DH has agreed to take that step. He was unwilling before, so that is HUGE!!!!!!!!!
