Both of those fruits are amazing in a salad. But you should pair them with a sweet apple, like golden delicious or honeycrisp, rather than a tart apple. And toss in some of your favorite berries; I prefer blueberries and strawberries, myself.

And I do have bananas, apples, clementines, and pineapple tidbits in the house right now. That would make an... interesting fruit salad at least.

Out of curiosity, do you put any kind of dressing on your fruit salad, or just mix fruit together? My sister makes fruit salad with a dressing and it's okay, but most of the time I prefer just the fruit.
