I've shattered many a correll plate. The disintegrate into needle-sharp shards, which you find years later by stepping on them and imbedding into your foot.

I have yet to find anything that doesn't turn to molten lava. I broke down and bought the fancy "pot holders" for bowls and such that a local gal makes ol

Good for you! I'm pretty sure if I went they would end up needing a therapist....the fact I'm not currently committed it kind of a miracle
