Chat room for non religious poultry keepers! :D

This conversation took a bit of practice. I kept wanting to "direct" it, if that makes sense. Finally, when I was writing the Sweet Tooth's responses, I just wrote down whatever came to mind, and didn't try to think of what to say.

This was writing out longhand, not typing. Slow. So I'd try to "think" of what ST would say. Nope, just write down whatever comes to mind.
Ahh okay that makes a lot of sense!! Thanks!!

Some of the dialog was like this, "blah blahblahblahblah I hate you blahblahblah why blahblablah you rule me you let me hahahahahaha" and yes, I wrote, "blahblahblah" just to keep the writing going.

:hugs

I never have been big on puzzle games, either. I guess for me I get enough of that sort of problem-solving thinking when I'm reading about genetics or answering genetic questions, so I don't find puzzles to be that big of a draw, myself. But, I have recently discovered that I do really enjoy playing minesweeper, of all things! It was introduced a couple months ago on a game site I'm part of and I've been playing it way too much ever since. 🤭 You could also just get a coloring game on your phone that can be a distraction without being something too difficult. I don't have any of those, but my sister plays them a lot to fill time. I hope you can find something fun for you to do for a distraction. :hugs
Oh gosh. I love coloring books. I have so many I haven't even started because I'm scared of using the wrong colors

So I had a doctor’s appointment today but I’m done at the doctor lol he’s referring me to an endocrinologist and a neurologist lol

I was supposed to see an endocrinologist tomorrow but I had to cancel because they moved the location but APPARENTLY they would have cancelled anyway because she took a leave of absence and they don't know when she'll be back.

So now I gotta go to an outside one and a neurologist too because normally he manages all his migraine patients but because I’m on all the psych ones he can’t so he’s referring me out to see if they have any ideas. Because the one we tried two weeks ago lowered my BP too much.

@TheDawg, find ways to "get out of your head." Break that thought chain. Here are things that have worked for me.

Take a shower
take a nap
take a walk
read
write in a journal (this helped me a lot!)
talk to someone
look up something you're interested in online and go down that rabbit hole
play with your (beautiful) dog
cook a new recipe
volunteer somewhere (this takes planning, so not an immediate help)
watch a movie or TV
listen to music (and sing and dance)
All good ideas.
The reason I brought up puzzles is sometimes they can be totally absorbing so you can't really think about anything else. I thought that might help.
