Yeah, I agree that white birds with clean legs are much prettier than the ones with feathered legs. I really like all white birds with clean legs, and yes, especially leghorns. Although I do prefer Isabella leghorns. The shredding gene is another big factor, yes. Generally don't love that gene, although it really works on Ameraucana. I will also say that most of the colours I say I dislike, it's usually not the case with super clean (as in, no leakage) and proper SOP birds

She’s so pretty!!! And thank you!Oh, for me it's not the leg feathering, itself, it's that the leg feathering sort of blocks the color of the legs. I don't care for White Leghorns, but White Ameraucanas with good slatey legs I'm okay with.
Although, after I lost my darling Dandelion, I definitely considered building a small breeding flock of silkied White Cochins. Much as I don't care for pure white Cochins, I really adored that bird.
