Cholera no, MG yes. Hoping the MG tests will be negative for that reason.

The adults will be, but if we hatch the chicks in a incubator they will not.

I want to share this from another thread on here. Made me laugh out loud and I thought you all would appreciate it.

A Christian, a Muslim, and a Witch of the Norse gods all die and go to the afterlife.

They find that, waiting for them at the entrance to the afterlife is Anubis, waiting with a set of scales, with a feather on one side.

Above Anubis is a sign, "You wait with your heart, if less than feather-wait, you may enter paradise."

The Christian takes out his heart from his soul, and sets it on the scales. He stares at Anubis defiantly, "I should pass, I made sure to do what FOX news told me every day." They tip heavily to the side, and Anubis waves his hand. The Christian's soul disintegrates instantly.

The Muslim takes out his heart from his soul, and sets it on the scales. He looks timidly at Anubis, "I did my best to live a good life, I always gave to the poor..." Although not as heavy as the Christian's heart, it was weighed down by life. Anubis sadly waved his hand, and the Muslim's soul disintegrated instantly.

The Witch then looked at the scales, looked at the plaque, and checked her watch. About three minutes went by, and Anubis was getting annoyed at her taking too long, and started tapping his foot. She then looks at Anubis and asks, "Has that feather been here long?"

Anubis nods, "Yes, left by the god Maat, millennia ago."

She nods, "And how long ago did we arrive here?"

Anubis thinks for a moment, "Maybe six minutes?"

The witch smiles, and then strides confidently forward, and enters paradise.

Anubis sighs, "At least Witches know how to spell."

Same here, no quarantining effort at all and then they only treat until the symptoms go away instead of the full week / however many days you're supposed to for a particular treatment, then, surprise, it doesn't work the next time they need it. Or throw VetRx at it and hope it helps. Permethrin is pretty much useless against external parasites here because of that behavior so I had to shell out for Elector PSP when my birds were infested a few years back. Hopefully your birds come back clean, that's a tough diagnosis to handle if not.

Yeah, I become a broken reccord on every post recently in our local groups of people saying "I have a bird with respiratory issues and their flock mayes just suddenly keel over." And me responding with "NECROPSY" we got bloody AI in this state dangit!

No AI at least confirm by the labs, fowl Cholera yes at least in the Guinea but means other birds could be carriers. My rooster had extreme worm load (we don't worm but will be changing that when they are trapped. Near impossible to worm ferals).

Welp we got fowl Cholera, but will still get testing for MG.

Yeah, like we had plans of massive culling anyway. Just means my aunt wont be getting any birds, if we manage this cull right will be down to 20 so birds for the first time in over 7 years.

Yeah, the rought part will be culling my super old birds. I know thought at the end it'll be for the benefit of everyone.

I haven't even done a head count to get a new number on our birds yet. Will probably do that soon. It's probably more then 40, though.
