not yet i currently have 2 buff cochins however i just got my FIRST job
and i work at bomgaars we are getting 9 chicks of various breeds from murray mcmurray around feb
since i have a job im ordering some quality breeder cochins

Congrats on the first job!! I love how grumpy and scowling large fowl Cochins look. My LF girl is getting oooold, but despite the scowl she's a sweetie She's just a hatchery Blue, nothing special, but I love her a lot.

My heart belongs to my bantams, though. I've had to kind of plateau on any progress I've made with them because I've been so busy with school, but I've been working with the silkie-feathered variety of BBS Cochin bantams for the last several years. I can't get enough of these fuzzy little divas

Indeed. All the tactile enjoyment of fuzzy silkied feathering without the Silkie traits I can't stand like their funky combs and their eye-blocking crests, and with the added bonus of that irresistible Cochin bantam attitude

Oh my goodness!! The cuteness! My heart is with bantams as well, and BBS genetics. I've got BBS Orpingtons, standard. But I've got 16 bantam cochins right now. 14 are only 2 weeks old, so some of them will need to be rehomed depending on the male to female situation. But they're my favorites!

I hear you on the rooster situation, I'm perpetually housing way too many roosters at any given time They're very lucky they're handsome and have big, sad eyes.
