Chat Thread for the New Crazy 24 hour Auction

I have a blue mottled rooster over blue and black hens, and one blue frizzle hen. I think the frizzle is the only one laying right now, as the others are raising babies. I have a couple lovely pullets that he has started mating, so i think they will lay soon. Wish i could help ya out!

@Laurel Meadows how's your mottled pen doing?

My Mottled group is freeloading at the moment lol. I have my young Blue Mottled male in with the 2 self blue hens and 2 black mottled hens and I'm getting 1 egg a day if I'm lucky! (3 of the 4 girls are just getting over being broody). So unfortunately I'm not able to help either!
That's a great pic of George and your girls :love Pretty babies!

You guys are killing me!!!! My incubators are TURNED off. I've promised to lend them to 3 different classrooms that want to hatch eggs. I am baby fluff free - everyone else is fully feathered and outside. I've actually been selling the babies! Problem is, I'm not selling enough of them. My WONDERFULLY awesome BF believes I've gone overboard and has basically said he won't contribute to my obsession anymore, so no new pens will be built, unless I do it myself.
Seramas are my weakness, somehow I ONLY Hatch boys. 1 girl and at least 7 boys I've had to rehome. I have one sad lonely little serama hen hanging out with the big bad Sebrights. I would love some friends for her, but I PROMISED I wouldn't hatch anymore this year.....

Hey maybe you'd be interested in a trade?? I've got several young pullets out of my last hatch and oy got 2 guys out of the 9 and they're both solid blue. I need a another typey cock that's not blue or my who flock will end up splash eventually XD due to my only cock who is a splash. As much as I love the blues, I don't want the whole shebang to be blue. I'm seriouse tho if you're interested...

Looking for black copper Maran eggs to hatch or heritage breed turkeys...anyone have any?

I've got 1 broody serama laying on a clutch of eggs so I'm incubating my marans eggs at the moment to let her take care of those for me too. Here's a big of 2 that just hatched yesterday.

They're excellent type and free of parasitic white. Their down hatch shows true ER. A lot of marans chicks I've been seeing on the marans fb page look penguin type which is more like E than ER. My main issue with the flock (and the most important really) is that their eggs just aren't dark enough. Working on it tho ;p anyhow, my point is, I'm not sure how many eggs I've got or will have at the moment as I'm hatching but I'll check when I get home if you're still interested in any. I'll post in here before I list them for auction. Let me know!

as the season progresses the paint runs out, so they will start dark and get lighter then hit molt and stop laying, paint reserves will be refilled and then when they lay again it will be dark again.....
