they are black tail white japanese.

I'm still waiting for that first egg, although after seeing a pic of a first bantam egg the size of a dime, I could possibly have 3 or 4 dozen around on the ground and just overlooked them.

If you're really interested I'll let ya know when they start laying.

justino, I'm finally here, it's been pretty busy around my place today.
DH painted my latest 2 coops "barn red", and I'll eventually trim it out in white.
I had to pull the plastic barriers off my pens since the temps are back in the 60's again, and
I got my first egg from one of my silver penciled cochins......
she jumped in my lap, kept turning around, and layed right there.
I figure she is pretty comfortable and trusting of me to lay right in my lap.
