Cheap Coop Lighting

I use the solar lights that you stick in the ground. I place it outside every morning and then I put it in the coop at night. Just enough light. I don't want it so bright that they think its daytime. I just wanted to give them a bit to be able to see if they need to get water or move around during the night. Works great, can't get much cheaper then that. I use a coffee grind holder that you would put the coffee grounds into from a large electric perculator. I turn that upside down place on floor of coop and stick solar light into the round hole in the middle. fits tight and allows solar light to stand all night. I also have a solar light attached to roof of coop near windows. I think my chickens are very happy also. I'm going to pick up a couple more lights to save for winter use.
