I bought two a while back and put them in one of the little syrofoam inubators.It took 55 days to hatch.I hand turned them two times a day. One hatched on mother's day. He followed us all over the place. Now he's about four 1/2 ft tall and runs in a pen with our ducks and tom turkey. Now I have two more in the bator!! To try it again.
 
I love the picture of the Silkie trying to hatch the emu eggs! That is just so cute! I wonder what she was thinking when they didn't hatch!

They didn't say where you found that picture if they actually hatched or not?
