I have just costed out a lunch that I made for three. It came to the equivalent of $3.25. It consisted of potato croquettes (frozen I'm afraid!), mushrooms, baked beans, eggs (from our hens) tomatoes and toast! What we call an 'All day breakfast'. No meat, but I reckon if you added a couple of rashers of bacon or sausages, it would still be well under $5. Is this the cheapest lunch ever?

Ramen noodles....$0.18

You did a good job. I'm just being silly.

from the yard and garden: greens (seed sown and volunteer), sweet potatoes grown last year, and the most expensive part, an egg from my hens.
