What a deal! It's already gutted and fitted for chickens.

Oxine AH is 200 times more effective than Clorox and it's safe to use around (and on) the animals. It's even approved in the drinking water of organically raised animals. It's a great disinfectant for what you're dealing with!

Okay, I haven't started the actual cleaning part. I'm trying to decide the best way to attack it. There's 6-12" of dry poop, food and bedding. It's very dusty. I was thinking I may spritz it down with water first. I also considered a shop vac. I was originally going to shovel it right out onto my manure pile, but while I was lying in bed last night thinking about it, I thought it might be better to shovel into trash bags and dispose of. My chickens free range and are always in the manure pile.

I pulled out the many feeders and loose stuff. The galvanized waterer is rusted inside. Is it still okay to use if I scrub it?
