Very nice. You will want to close off the nest boxes with cardboard until they are ready to lay. You don't want them to get in the habit of sleeping in those. Also do you have a latch on the nest box?

Thank you for the great tip on the nest boxes. I do have latches on the nest box. I have since added a mechanism that also closes the run gate automatically. We unfortunately left it open one night and in the morning when the auto door on the coop opened they ventured out in the yard. I found our dog had got 3 chickens. I have since done some training with him and he has now accepted the flock as part of our pack. This was a hard learning lesson for us.
