If I remember my EE layed two within a twenty four hour period when she just started laying last week, but I mean that's even pretty rare. She's slacking now and thinks it's funny to lay her eggs on the roost so I get scrambled eggs.

I had a hen that lay an egg in the late afternoon then lay one early the next morning but it is still not the same day.

I need to update my craigslist and inform them that I have 2 roosters that are each laying 5-6 eggs a week, which is really good for a rooster.

I figure he's either counting the eggs the ROOSTERS are laying, or maybe he's far north Alaska and is getting that many every 6 months, or 1 day, whichever comes first.
