Checkers anyone? :)

I have 11 of them ... Socialized them the best we could and they will ONLY come to us when we have food in our hands... That when we grab them but I swear they hold their breath and close their eyes when that happens!

She lays the most beautiful brown eggs with dark brown speckles all over them. You can hardly see the spots until you wash the bloom off.

I have about another month before my girls start laying... Cant wait. Little Lady, the girl in the picture, layed her first egg last Saturday! We all were very egg-sited!

No kidding! Long story but HE was only supposed to come home with a few! Expanding the coop this weekend or next...
