Checking Fertile eggs???

How do you tell when a quail egg is fertile? I Thought I should know before hand....

well. Since I got my first egg. I read that Normally, the first few eggs aren't fertile. Thanks

I have been able to differentiate a blastoderm from a blastodisc in cracked eggs. Look for the bullseye!
