Beautiful!

We have such a vibrant community here at BYC... tons of active friendly members. Of course, life gets busy, so I was thinking it would be fun to start a thread welcoming some of our peeps we haven't heard from in a while.

If that's you, come say hello and let us know what you've been up to. :)

(if that's not you, feel free to invite peeps you haven't seen in a while and say hi to those that post here)
Hi Nifty Chicken - looking to rehome a sweet Americauna. Lost her hen companion this week. I don't want her to be lonely. Anyone out there who will love her? No roosters please. 🥴

Been dealing with a sick hubby. 😭 But chickens are doing well and keeping me sane!! I fell in love with the most gorgeous pair of turkeys today but restrained myself. Only now I’m worried they’ll be someone’s dinner 😭

We have been so busy that I rarely get on my computer these days. We have been raising out 20 turkeys that we hatched and plan to butcher on the 15th for thanksgiving and we are getting baby chicks, American Bresse, next week to start up a meat bird production. We also raise meat rabbits, have 4 pigs (that will be going to butcher in a few weeks) and we have dairy goats. I jumped into cheese making this year from my goat milk and have loved having home made fresh cheese on hand. Oh and we added in one more LGD on the farm, who thinks her goal is to dig out of any paddock we put her in.
