Checking little bums

How long do I continue to check for pasty butt? Our chicks are 18 days old. I am checking once a day right now. Is that too seldom? When do I stop?

Hi,

If they have not shown any signs of pasty butt so far, then checking once per day should be fine. Not sure about when to stop as i have always hatched using a broody hen and i have never had such an issue.
