Kathy, where did you find that? 13g. Wow. right on the mark with an average zebra finch. and believe it or not when my two are out of the cage zipping around, they are terrors. LOVE THEM. Thanks for posting this.
Those were chicks that had been in a nest on the side of my house. Sadly the nest was destroyed by a gust of wind, so the chicks were on the ground.

Aaah, you're such a nice guy 18angovem.

Isn't he? Angovem's one of the sweetest people I've ever met! You and Gentila are, too. I'm always humbled at how tight-knit our birdy community can be. <3

How are your finchies, by the way?

Oh, thank you Amykins. And I agree with you about the above mentioned folks plus you are a sweetie too. This is a fun and tightknit community of bird lovers and it's what keeps me here.

They are doing great, thank you. I love letting them loose when I am home because their silly personalities come out.

I love to let my doves fly around my house when I am home! What do you to make sure they do not poo?

Doves? Oh, wow! That's so cool! As for poops, you just sorta let 'em. Same thing with sugar gliders, you just kinda have to deal with it.

Haha! Yeah I have doves. 3 of them. 1 is on a legit nest with 2 eggs, The other just sits on random objects in their little aviary (One of those huge great dane dog cages. They will go in my big aviary soon) The other stupid dove sits on seeds. Rocks. Oyster shells.... I don't know whats wrong with her. And the other is a male. They are in my shop and it is sooo nice to hear their soft calls while I am working in the shop.
