Alok nodded. "I'm the Tracker.""Oh, uh, I carry equipment, it's back by my bed roll right now," Queste replied.

Alok nodded. "I'm the Tracker.""Oh, uh, I carry equipment, it's back by my bed roll right now," Queste replied.
Alok glanced over. "I can help also." He said polity and calmly, wanting to help.Daz sighed loudly. She was assigned that task too. "want to help me wash the dishes?" she asked.
"I-" he started, but thought better, "Y-yesss. Your highness." He said. On a normal day he might have countered. He wasn't an adventureur, he was a strategist! He sat behind the battle lines and told the general what to tell the soldiers, not- auuugh!
(i'll assume you're with the rest of us.)Pax awoke to the sound of something hard clatter onto the floor and he jumped up with fright ready to fight whoever was going to attack him, but just as soon as he got up he fell in a heap on the ground and sighed. He needed to get used to that prosthetic leg he unattached at night leaning it up against his nightstand. He pulled himself up back into the cot, cursing under his breath,
"Confounded thing!"
He tried to control his fury and focused his eyes toward the mountains, it was always beautiful at this hour of the morning. The sun's rays gradually got longer... Sun means breakfast, which means by the time he gets his morning meal the only things left will be the crusts of bread and crumbs. Pax really needed to get use to waking up at this hour. Back in his country his people stayed up all night eating haggis and drinking ale and going about their business but slept during the day.
Pax never really knew how he got here. He was once sitting near a warm fire talking softly to his bairn brother quietly comforting him, next second he ended up here in the dark cold place. Pax sighed at the thought. Oh how he missed his family!
He grabbed his leg and attached it. It has been a six months when he lost his leg, he always told everyone how a monstrous dragon ripped his forelegs right off while he was trying in vain to slice through the beast's rock-hard neck, but no, he lost his leg to a skillful hunter with a crossbow. He still couldn't get that cruel merciless laughter out if his head as he lay bleeding and... enough! He must stop these memories.
Limping slightly he walked out of his room and entered the dining hall.....
"Sure," said Queste.Daz sighed loudly. She was assigned that task too. "want to help me wash the dishes?" she asked.
Queste nodded.Alok nodded. "I'm the Tracker."
"Hi, I'm Queste," said Queste. The unicorn saw right through her disguise.
"Yeah, from farther east," she said, part of which was true. Queste had been going west during her travels.
"Oh, so you've been here." Belle said, still a little skeptical."Oh, uh, I carry equipment, it's back by my bed roll right now," Queste replied.
Her ears perked up, "I can help." She said with all the sincerity in the world.Daz sighed loudly. She was assigned that task too. "want to help me wash the dishes?" she asked.
He's suppose to be where everybody else is. In the castle right?( @MissNutmeg where is Pax?)
"Just four friends washing the dishes," said Queste."Oh, so you've been here." Belle said, still a little skeptical.
Her ears perked up, "I can help." She said with all the sincerity in the world.
(Oh good gravy, they are staying in tents! Duh duh duh. I'll edit tomorrow.)(i'll assume you're with the rest of us.)
Daz looked up at Pax who had just stumbled dazed out of a tent. She smiled to herself, he always seemed to be off in his own little world though, so maybe he wasn't dazed and he was just being normal.
"Good mornin'!" she said loudly waving to him. " there's still some stew and biscuits if you're hungry." she said gesturing to the pot.
