Chest

If the chick is slamming itself against the side of the brooder, it is probably too hot and it is trying to get out. Why are you trying to make it sleep during the day? If it is comfortable and well fed it will nap off and on throughout the day without your help and it will sleep at night as nature intended, when it is dark.
It never sleeps in there since sadly the UV light stays on, and I turn the heat down by 5 every week as I was advised however I do open the side slightly and lay my hand inside and sometimes he lays on it while I sleep

This isn't good (the lack of sleep, constant light, high humidity).
You could try using a heating pad to provide warmth for at least part of the day with the light out. Or you could switch those regular bulbs for one ceramic heat emitter or black bulb (both meant for reptiles, available at pet shops / wal mart / online).

Please listen when folks are trying to tell you that more ventilation is needed. It's hard to change course when you're partway down a path... But the evidence (chick behavior) is showing you this isn't working well. You can fix it though.

* Fyi, it's confusing to keep reading "they" when it's just one chick, that's a situation where "it" is just easier to make sense of in context, although I understand you're trying to make room for it's sex to become apparent, but it still reads as multiple chicks. "It" may seem cold, but he/she doesn't know what you're typing. Or you could do what many of us do, default to "she" aspirationally. 🙃

Ok did that and that section is pretty cool now also he/she started to jump at his/her reflection in my bedroom mirror he really needs friends other then the lamb

We don’t have any of those sadly and the few heating pads we have stay on for only 2-3 hours then shut off by themselves I’ve removed one bulb and often wrap them up and place them elsewhere where they sleep

Or I place my hand in there and let him/her sleep on it (more often poops on it) also it seems more like he just wants to be on my hand and I have kept the sides open partially (to let my hand be in there without them getting out)

Please don't wrap the chick up, it's not at all natural and it could overheat. Nature has provided a covering of down feathers to protect it and keep it warm. As long as the temperature in the brooder is correct, the chick is fine.
