OK, I'm on page 28 of 54 and not 1 word on how folks are relieving their eye strain!!

Thanks Miss Prissy
I thought incubation was sometime down the road, now it may be just around the corner

I bought egg turning trays ($13.00 at the feed store) and jabbed the ends into the sides of my bator and the fit is tight so all I do is turn the trays it works out great.

Miss Prissy, is this the "Dickey" incubator you said you hatched your 3 week old eggs in in the other thread with the cute chicks?

Okay I read to page 28 and never saw anything else on this only turning for 7 days. Some where around page 4 or 5 it was discussed and nothing else said. Is this correct or what? I don't want to turn 21 days if 7 days gets the same results.

Everything I ever read says that you have to turn the eggs atleast 3 times a day for 18 days and you quit turning on day 19. Then you up the humidity and don't touch again until after they hatch unless its to add water and if you lose the humidity while opening to add water to spritz the eggs with warm water lightly to bring the humidity back up.
Hope that helps.

I had an idea. I dont know if its already solved, but, you could you thin but sturdy piping, construct a shape like this

You could place the egg cartons in the two side pieces and place eggs in them. The end of the piping comes out the side of the box. You can then turn the end and it will cause the eggs to turn. This may sound confusing, but its quite a simple idea.
