I could be wrong, but I believe it is a "get there and set up when you do" type of deal. There is always going to be people looking and buying, earlybirds so to speak....just like a yardsale.

When we went to buy, we went early like 8:30 to make sure we could get what we wanted. When we are just browsing, we have arrived more like 10. It's a long drive for us to many of these places, and it takes a lot of planning and effort to get 4 kids including a toddler and a baby ready to leave!

I would love to see more swaps in southwest NH (Cheshire County) where i live. I know there is one scheduled for Keene Agway, but it's in mid-June and i hope i have what i want before then. I suppose i can always find something to add, but i want my main flock started well before then.

Just my .02

chickn,
If it starts at 8, do we need to get there earlier to set up?

i usually put 9-1 set up around 8, that is usually how it goes, we try to get there as close to 8 as we can, you can do whatever works for you. thats fine. i dont think anyone wants to get there before the store opens at 8.

i will have some silkie chicks, but i cant sex them,
i will have some speckled sussex chicks ordered pullets, going to keep some at home so i end up with a few this time!!
should also have some std cochin chicks, polish chicks, laying hens, etc
